After my week in New Orleans, curstkate and I had previously planned to meet Friday night, so I drove to Shreveport to finally meet her. We had dinner and talked about many things. What an amazing person she is. She had so many interesting stories about her job. It was just such a pleasure to meet her. My one regret was I didn’t have more time to spend with her, as I had to get back on the road to make it home to Michigan the next night. Overall it was a great time meeting her and I look forward to seeing her again.

She sang a karaoke song for me, her skating partner! When I think a-boot you I touch my-self, oh hoh hoh!

Because she is the one true internet friend I have managed to hang on to. I remember the very first time she contacted me, she saw a post I had written about ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ and needed to ask me a question about the movie I believe because she was reading the ‘Taming of the Shrew’ for school. That was 7 years ago, and I even went to see her in 2000, which I will forever cherish. She is a beautiful person and deserves everything she wants out of life. I would give anything to see her again.

She is by far one of my most favorite people I have ever met. She is full of life and love and knowledge. I think I have learned quite a bit from her, I could only hope one day to return the favor. And I’m so glad she joined this site!

Another guy in Hollywood that I just want to watch a movie with. His knowledge is so vast, I would love to play a movie trivia game with both him and Tarantino.

I just want to watch a movie with him. Of course I’d let him pick the movie, too. He has such an obscure taste in movies, far more than myself. And my taste in movies is obscure.

My friend Joe and I were in Cleveland to see Pearl Jam and were heading toward the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, when Joe thought he noticed Mike McCready. Sure enough, it was him! We told him how we were going to see 4 PJ shows this year and would really love to hear “All Night” played at the Gorge Amphitheatre. We also congratulated him on such a killer album, and told him where we were heading. He said it wasn’t a very good exhibit, and that (along with the price) was enough for us. He was with some guy I think was the interviewer for the Rolling Stone article on Pearl Jam. If I ever am fortunate enough to meet him again, I want to tell him how important I think his work with the CCF is, I wish I had thought of it then. He was very cool. And YES, my eyes are closed, how lame, I know. I’ve learned it’s just something that happens once in a while, can’t be helped. Unless you get those eye clamp thingies from A Clockwork Orange.
